STIR CRAZY

Well it not news to anyone that reads this blog that it has been COLD as hell lately.

Our home has been particularly cold due to someone's brilliant decision to put our heaters in the ceiling. And even I KNOW that heat rises....so um yeah. The ceilings of our condo are real nice and toasty!!

Nick put some plastic up in Finn's room to keep it warmer...we are running the space heaters full blast and sometimes donning our winter garb to hang out in the house.

It seemed like the cabin fever was settling in last night when Finn starting playing with a big coloring sheet. With a little bit of alphabet reciting thrown in for good measure. See footage below :)

I am going to be better about blogging this week! Just you wait and see. I am feeling like a slacker already!
You can look forward to:
A Trip to the Museum of Science and Industry with Megan!
Finnegan's 20 month check up
My Music posts debut
My Reasons Why I Love Chicago posts debut!

Heat in ceilings was invented by the Aussies because it's all upside down there so heat goes to the floor. Same reason for the coriolis effect on toilets and the water swirling the other way. Can you kids install ceiling fans to push the heat around?

i feel your misery. even though hong kong doesn't get as cold, we have no central heating, cold concrete walls and floors so when it's 50 degrees outside, it's the same inside. we're in winter garb inside more here than when we lived in madison. hope you get warmer weather soon.
