Resolution

Tomorrow it is back to the grind.
No more eating anything and everything in arm's reach.
No more sleeping in.
No more taking naps.
No more days and nights with Finn and Nick.
No more time with my family (who I miss terribly already!)
Tomorrow begins
More working
More RUNNING
More schedules and routines
More new clothes and other amazing gifts to enjoy

Note: I know I owe you 7 random things about me...it's coming. I also know the holidays have come and gone....and in light (LAME I KNOW) of saving myself a bit of time....and because almost all of the people that read my blog also read my sister's, and because we both have the same photos due to us being DOUBLE DHARMA'S! check out her account of our time together.
Sorry Greta - that is such a cop out I know but hey...at least I didn't start a rumor that you're preggers ;)!

to clarify!
I AM NOT PREGNANT! NO BUN IN THIS OVEN. Although I am looking up the recipe ;)

What I have been taking time to do lately is to think about some New Year's Resolutions!
I am pretty lukewarm on them typically and I am fine with keeping them a little more "general"
Here is my beginning list.
1) Blog more! Seems simple enough. I am going to blog more. And I am going to redesign it.
2) Wash my face and brush my teeth more. I have good personal hygiene friends and family...truly I do. However I am going to just step it up a notch. Flossing...eye make-up remover, toner the whole bit. I have "over 30" skin now. I gotta be careful about these things.
3) Spend more time with friends. This is for obvious reasons. I am happiest when I am with my friends. So I must spend more time with them.
4) RUN! It seems a little anti-climactic after running your first full marathon. But there are more to run I guess! Marathons to run faster....who knows. A travel destination half is up next I think! Madison full marathon in May. I am ruminating on a loose goal of running a marathon in every state. Any thoughts on that? I think it's a cool goal. Whether they are halves or fulls....what a great way to see our fine nation.

Like I said. A nice flexible list.
That's all for now...tonight.
More and more posts coming soon!

AND some Finnegan photos and some of my other favorite shots from the holiday AND an oldy for good measure.

First of all you are a total B for putting that horrible middle school picture up.

Second...I totally didn't post some of my favorite pictures from the Holidays so that you would have some left over. Now they are just floating out there waiting to be posted. Agh...what am I to do.

But I am happy you are going to blog more. That is one resolution I am totally jazzed to hear.

PS..sorry about the preggers thing.. too late.

Well OMG! How am I supposed to know which are your favorite photos?! We are going to need to talk. Post away! Are you doing one about MOA or New Years?
I could do those! That is not a bad picture. It is a GREAT picture. I love that photo. It reminds me that even from the beginning of time we have been taking crazy photos like that. POOP. TOO LATE. :) LOL. seriously.

WHAT GREAT NEWS YOU AND YOUR SISTER ARE BOTH EXPECTING TRIPLETS!! Just remember to treat them all as individuals and not just one person mooshed into 3 bodies.

I think that is a great middle school px!!!! Good to have resolutions, mine is to drop the temperature one degree in my beer fridge...So when you open up a chilly one there is just a hint of ice....Yum-OH!!!!

maybe more input than you want, but i say put off the state marathon goal for, oh, a decade or so. it takes too much time right now when you have so many other things to concentrate on, like future buns and present toddlers... as you've shown, your body will continue to get stronger, even with that 30 year old skin... from a big sister who thinks she knows it all

No! That's great Jessica. I don't have a big sister :) I'll gladly have you fill in! I totally agree with you. That is why I was just throwing it out there. I am realistic with these things. But I also have realized how good setting goals and pushing myself feels. It keeps me sane...a better person, woman, mom. Even if it's a half once a year when things get crazier. It also satisfies my urge to travel. Which my husband sometimes doesn't "get". What he DOES understand is traveling for athletic competitions, which he does :) go figure! So this could be my strategy too. lol!
